The vehicle that we were supplied encountered a problem that required assistance. The staff on the phone and at the local branch that the car was taken to were brilliant. They got us back on the road in 4 hours with a superior vehicle. The resulting process has been less worthy. This is the first time in 30 years of renting cars in the USA that I have such an issue. I was sent an accident claim form to complete although we had not been in an accident. I have no idea what the result will be, and this uncertainty and anxiety prevents my from giving Sixt a recommendation.
